In 1980 Wynell Blackwell bought out Etowah Insurance Agency from a local agent, Ed Thomason. When the agency incorporated in 1996, the agency name changed to Blackwell Agency, Inc. The agency now employs five insurance agents with a combined 95 years in insurance experience. Our agency is family owned and operated with the goal of providing personal service to those who desire insurance and financial direction. We work together with you to find the right fit for your insurance needs and offer competitive pricing to fit your budget.

As an independent insurance agency, we represent multiple insurance companies. This enables us to place your coverages with the right company at the right price.

Our hours of business are Monday - Friday from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.  Standard  appointments to discuss one line of business normally take between 30 minutes to 1 hour. If you have multiple or very detailed needs, we ask that you make an appointment with one of our agents.  We want to give you our undivided attention and the kind of service you deserve.
